Here’s a round up of my top wedding guest dress picks for the Fall 2022 wedding season including accessories, trends, and pro tips.
Blush, champagne, and gold are always beautiful transitional colors for weddings that are taking place in the warmer months of fall. I’m looking forward to the baby blue dress trend this season. Wedding stylists and designers say that amethyst will be trending color this fall season. It seems like more often certain colors are no longer assigned to a single season; so if you love it, you should wear it.
If you want to stand out and be on trend Cult Gaia is one of the hottest designers right now. The Cult Gaia clutches are the coolest clutches of the season. If you want the look for less, I’ve rounded up some of the hottest designer dupe clutches on this blog post, including a spot on dupe to the sold out Cult Gaia pearl EOS clutch for less than half the designer price.
For shoes, I would purchase a pair of clear strap heels like this pair. Clear straps elongate your legs and go with everything. I’m shocked at how comfortable these shoes are, they are definitely my go-to pair.
Pearl accessories are still a hot trend and in style. I put together a list of my favorite event accessories that includes the hottest shoes, jewelry, and coveted clutches of the season.
For perfume Le Labo Santal 33 and and Baccarat Rouge 540 are two that I would recommend. They are pricey but worth it IMO. You’ll get compliments all night with either fragrance. Both scents literally last for days. For a less expensive option for the Baccarat Rouge 540, get the travel size trio under $200. Or if you’re boujee on a budget, I recently found this unreal dupe to Baccarat Rouge 540 at Zara called Red Temptation for $30. It’s lacking the quality of a perfume made in Paris and it won’t last like a luxury fragrance, but the scent is spot on.
This is one of my best beauty tips: if you want the luxury perfume without paying the price; ask for a sample size from a department store like Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom’s and they will gladly make one for you. This is perfect for trying out boujee perfumes without spending hundreds of dollars because you can try the scent, see how it wears on your skin, plus see how the room reacts. Then pull the trigger and invest in the winning fragrance.
